Using cloud computing, big data, artificial intelligence and other technologies, relying on the big data center of Baosteel, it collects carbon-related data and covers the whole process, process and variety of Baosteel smart carbon data platform, including three core modules: carbon accounting, carbon assets and carbon footprint. Carbon accounting module covers 11 control and platoon units including four bases. Through real-time collection of production process data, automatic aggregation and calculation, carbon accounting report is generated. The carbon asset module obtains peripheral data in a unified manner, integrates internal information of the company, and supports the summary of company policy information and benchmark analysis of industry data. The carbon footprint module is based on the international general lifecycle assessment (LCA) methodology and takes "cradle" to "gate" as the boundary to build the LCA carbon footprint calculation model covering the four base categories of products and detailed materials, so as to realize the traceability, management, reportable and verifiable carbon emissions of each steel coil. Providing downstream users with carbon data for each product has a "trail" to follow.

The platform has five innovation points, including full standard, wide range, fine granularity, accurate data and new architecture. The platform complies with ISO14064, ISO14067 and other international standards, and is modeled according to the LCA methodology. The emissions in the relevant range are calculated for the first time. Including organizational carbon, product carbon, is a comprehensive set of enterprise "double carbon" application data platform and the company's full range of carbon emissions and carbon footprint calculation platform; The full-link all-factor digital coil model based on big data center can calculate the carbon footprint of hundreds of thousands of materials in real time. Collect massive data in real time, form real and reliable data assets through data governance, and support the system to automatically generate carbon emissions and carbon footprints; Based on the M/S architecture of four bases and cloud-edge collaborative big data center, through cross-company, cross-base and cross-professional data integration, innovative "dual-carbon" application based on Baowu Industrial Internet platform is realized.
